                                            Julius Caesar

What will you betray someone for? Will it be jealousy, or just ti get rid of someone for power? These two situations happen in Shakespeare's play Julius Ceaser.
The story begins when Julius Ceaser returns from successful campaigns where he has deposed his most powerful ruler Gnaius Pompey. Jealous of Ceasers success a group of powerful conspirators led by Cassius, Casca and Metellius Cimber plan to assasinate Ceaser before he secures his power completely. The conspirators win over Marcus Brutus, Ceasers close friend and ally by convincing him that it is in the of the Roman republic. Brutus is swayed and accedes to aid them in their goal of killing Ceaser. They planned to kill Ceaser in the senate building where entrants are required to remove all armor and weapon's. Meanwhile, Ceaser is unaware of the grim fate awaiting him and confident in his power and popularity among the people he pays little attention to the bad omens perceived by his wofe Calpurnia and to the warning of a Soothsayer who bids him that "Beware the Ides of March".
